![]() Now I was advised by a friend to take a slightly sturdier tripod. That's how I came across Coolblue during my search. ![]() In Given my impatient nature, I was looking for an online store that accepted and processed orders until late at night. Lots of pockets. In all haste I wanted to buy a nice and solid tripod for not too much money, mainly for star photography. Cross body and back pack straps and a grab handle. It's 21L so a bit bigger than my other bags. I don't generally love the style of their bags (aesthetically), but the features have lured me in. I actually just pre-ordered a Tom Bihn Cambiata and it hope I end up really liking it. I might end up with one anyway though one day. The other issue is my understanding is it's fairly small inside and I'm worried it would be too small, especially once I get a water bottle, laptop and my other odds and ends for work. I like to wear it cross body almost as much as backpack style, rather than use short handle straps like the Tokyo tote has. A big one is that I really like a messenger length strap in my convertible bags. Hi friend! I really like the look of the Bellroy Tokyo Tote pack and I've thought about it now than once, but there's two things that made me hesitant. This plus an Annex Case or Liner might be an option as I have a other smaller bag handy for just going to a store or for a walk as well. I think this bag has filed a niche in my carry but am still considering the pros and cons of different bag sizes for daily use. This is much more full bag/backpack size and weight. I've also realized the benefits of my smaller lighter totepacks that are much better sized for just grabbing and going out and I can carry further if needed. It's pretty good for house-car-office for me though. The backpack mode is comfortable, but (I knew this going in) my shoulder is messed up so I probably shouldn't/couldn't carry this bag too far due to weight. I can fit a small bottle in the outside pocket. But none of the water bottle pockets fit my big bottle. I definitely found I could fit my daily carry items, laptop, headset, and still fit my 32oz Hydro Flask Trail in it, which is nice. I did! And was planning on posting an update for you once I tried it out a bit more □ I've only had a few work days with it so far so I'm still figuring out how well it works for me. Please help bag friends :) any comparisons, advice etc is appreciated. I like something that still wears nice cross body and is accessible (organized front pockets, top zip). So, I'm looking for suggestions on something with: similar looks and aesthetics to these, not too heavy, 3/5 way/convertible, external water bottle holder/pocket, a bit more space (22-25L maybe?, would love comparisons from someone who has these and others), perhaps expandable? I hesitate on this because I can't handle a particularly heavy bag and don't want a bulky bag, but having room to add a few more things in some days or for an over night is great. ![]() Internal sleeve for water bottle but it's hard to put a decent size water bottle in + a laptop/anything else of size. It has size pockets that can hold an umbrella but not a water bottle. The front pockets are flat so they don't hold much and have no organization. I really likes this bag, like the aesthetics, but it's not very big. Have had some issues with the metal latch on the gates popping off and suddenly losing your strap isn't cool (this may partially be my fault for having the backpack straps and handles on at the same time, but I need that feature). I was using a Crafted Goods Simplon 18L - I like it, size is a bit small. ![]() My bag goes to work, carries a laptop to and from work a few times a month, for walks, camping, traveling, and on road trips. I also really need to stop buying so many bags and settle down with for my day to day carry, a convertible bag (needs to have handles, cross body and backpack carry). Like many of us here I'm on a constant quest for my perfect bag and I just can't figure out what it is.
